Building the Future of Motorsport Engineering
A Formula 1–inspired racing ecosystem
Raising £20k to Launch our STEM Motorsport ecosystem.
Motorsport is what got me into engineering.
As a student, I competed in Jaguar Land Rover’s 4×4 in Schools, building and racing RC cars as part of a real engineering challenge. It worked — and experiences like that shaped my path. Many of those opportunities disappeared after COVID, and never really came back.
S-RC exists to change that.
S-RC is built by students, run by students, and designed to give young people hands-on access to real motorsport-style engineering — through high-performance RC race cars, competition, and data-driven improvement.
Gen.1 is our first Formula 1–inspired race car, and this Kickstarter funds a limited first production run and the launch of the wider S-RC ecosystem.
If you believe engineering is best learned by building and racing real machines — and that motorsport should be more accessible — this is where it starts.

The Gen.1: Engineered Like a Real Race Car
The S-RC Gen.1 isn’t a toy. It’s a high-performance racing machine:
- Formula 1-style open-wheel design
- Pushrod suspension and mechanical systems
- Precision drivetrain with metal components
- Designed for balance, efficiency, and performance
- Speeds up to 50 km/h
Every component teaches. Every lap educates.

S-RC So Far
Formula E
We were invited by ABB FIA Formula E to host a 3-day workshop and RC simulator experience for the Girls on Track Programme, and the London E Prix Fan Village.
Engaged 20 School Teams
As part of our national STEM Challenge, 20 teams from secondary schools across the UK are learning and building RC cars in their classrooms, then racing them at our championship events.
Whilton Mill
We are partnered with Whilton Mill, a karting track used by Formula 1 Drivers, to host the final event in our annual championship. Tickets to this summer event are available at a discounted price to kickstarter supporters.
Kickstarter Perks
Early supporters aren’t just buying a car — they’re founding a movement. Perks are extremely limited — don’t miss your chance.
Get your hands on our high performance premium RC race-car. With top-speeds of 50km/h, carbon-fibre construction, and adjustable aerodynamics, the gen.1 will satisfy your need for speed - without needing an FIA race license.

Access early-bird tickets to the S-RC Cup Whilton Mill National Final, the finale of Season 1 of our STEM Championship. Food included, as well as the opportunity to race your gen.1 on our Whilton Racetrack.
Get multiple cars for a discounted rate, allowing you and your family/friends to race each other whenever, wherever. We have options for clear bodyshells, allowing you to paint the Gen.1 in any livery you can imagine.

Every supporter will gain FREE access to the S-RC Education Programme with Support.
Have kids who want to get into STEM? The Education Programme is an online portal with 10 lessons each on Engineering, Business, and Motorsport, complete with explanations, quizzes, and a certification with digital validation they can show to any employer.
